A very funny twist to the 20th Century Silks plot: The magician ties two red hankies together, vanishes a silk (or tissue or flash paper etc.), and tells the children that it will re-appear between the two red hankies. When the red hankies are displayed, a sock is now tied between them!
You get:
* the gimmicked red hankies with a sock sewn in between
* an extra matching sock
* another matching pair of socks
(no silk supplied)
You can then pretend the sock smells really bad and should be washed...this gives you a GREAT reason to perform an effect like our Comedy Washing Machine.
